  • FOOD AND DRINK
  • Virgin Festival is home to a wide range of food options. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on-site.

    The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19. If you are planning on consuming alcohol at the festival, please bring two (2) valid government-issued pieces of ID and please be sure to drink responsibly.

    Virgin Festival goers may bring one (1) clear plastic, manufacture-sealed water bottle per person with them to the festival. Water fountains will also be available throughout the site. Festival goers may be asked to empty their bottle before entering the festival. No alcohol may be brought from outside of the festival. Festival goers may also bring Snack food in a clear, plastic gallon-sized bag (one per person).

  • WHERE WILL MY RIDE PICK ME UP?
    There is no designated drop off/pick up area, but there are well lit spots outside the main festival site.

    Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th

  • I HEAR THAT THERE IS A CHARITABLE ANGLE TO THE CONCERT. WHERE IS THE MONEY FOR CHARITY GOING?
    $1 from the price of each ticket goes to Virgin Unite, the independent charitable arm of the Virgin Group. For more information, please visit http://www.virginunite.com
  • I HAVE TICKETS FOR THE FESTIVAL AT THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE AT ONTARIO PLACE. DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ADMISSION TO THE CNE?
    Your festival ticket gives you access into the concert and also gains you free admission to the CNE and Ontario Place on each day you hold a valid festival ticket. This admission does not include rides at either the CNE or Ontario Place.

    If you don't have a ticket, you pay admission at the CNE, obtain a voucher, and then get reimbursed when you get to the other side to pick up your ticket.
  • WHERE IS THE SECOND STAGE?
    The second stage is located at Ontario Place. Please see map on site for location.
  • CAN I RE-ENTER THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE?
    If you have entered The Molson Amphitheatre and leave to go into Ontario Place you will receive a wristband which allows you entry to Ontario Place and re-entry to The Molson Amphitheatre. Re-entry is through the south Voodoo Garden gate which is next to the second stage.
  • WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR MUSIC LOVERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
    For those with special needs, we will provide toilets and aspecial needs seating.
  • I HAVE A SPECIAL DIET. WHAT IS THE FOOD SITUATION?
    There will be numerous food vender options available that will cover vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections. You are, however, permitted to bring a small amount of food in a soft container for those special cravings.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I RUN OUT OF CASH?
    That's what rich friends are for. But if you don't have any, we've got ATMs onsite.
  • ARE MINORS ALLOWED TO ATTEND VIRGIN FESTIVAL?
    All ages will be allowed to rock.
  • WHAT TIME WILL MY FAVOURITE BAND TAKE THE STAGE?
    Please visit www.virginfestival.ca/ontario/lineup/ a week before the event, for the full set times listing. Gates will open at 1pm each day.
  • CAN I BRING MY CAR?
    We recommend taking public transport to Virgin Festival, but if you must travel to Virgin Festival by car please be sure to carpool.
  • WHAT TIME DOES THE HEADLINER PLAY?
    A full schedule of artist set times will be available on this site in the week prior to the festival
  • SMOKING
    This is a non-smoking venue.
  • WHEELCHAIR
    Accessible seating in place.
  • TAILGATING
    Not allowed
  • INSPECTIONS
    Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion
  • BOX OFFICE HOURS
    August 29 – August 30: 11am - 8pm
  • IS PARKING INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?
    No sorry, parking is additional to the ticket price. If you want to bring a car the cost is $10-$25 per day (depending on the lot) operated by Ontario Place. Additional parking is available at the CNE and the Trade Centre. We recommend using public transport to get to The Molson Amphitheatre.

  • ALCOHOL POLICY
    Guests must show a valid, government-issued identification proving legal age in order to purchase alcohol. The Molson Amphitheatre has the right to decline sale of such beverage to a guest at any time.
